Four murders, two of her own children, one of her friend’s infant and one of her sister, were confessed by Eirini Mourtzoukou in the shocking thriller case from Amaliada. However, until the very last moment, she denied everything in her final interview given 7 days before her arrest.
“I don’t know how this will end, I’ve been throwing my hands up for a month now and I continue day by day,” she said.
When asked how the children “left” life, Eirini Mourtzoukou answered:
“I don’t know. I even thought that someone has cast a spell on me so that nothing good happens to me, I’ve thought about that too. I don’t know. They’ve put a curse on me.”
“Whatever happens, I only support myself now, I don’t care about anyone else,” she stated.
When asked about her relationship to the children’s deaths, she responds:
“None. May God cut off my legs, Holy Mary, no.”
“I would admit it. If I was at fault somewhere, I would say it. I am a person who whatever I do, I will say it. I’m not at fault. Whatever I had done, I would say it, I’m not a person to hide things.”
“You’re shocked when you hear such a confession,” says Marios Vogiatzis, founder of the body language and lie detection institute, and the person who conducted the interview with the 25-year-old.
“In our last meeting I told her clearly that my science rates your credibility at zero, it’s certain that you have involvement.”
