The carnival heart beats strongly in Patras, as the grand parade of the Patras Carnival 2026 filled the streets with color, dance and endless joy. Thousands of carnival participants, dressed in elaborate costumes and creative outfits, created a colorful river that moved to the rhythms of music, spreading smiles and festive atmosphere. The crowd danced, sang and celebrated, bringing life to one of the city’s most beloved traditions.

With impressive floats, imaginative satirical colorful costumes, great fun and dancing from thousands of people, Patras is rightfully characterized as the Queen of Greek Carnival. 30,000 carnations decorated the floral float that carried the carnival queen and a swan surrounded by flamingos signaled the arrival of Spring and Renaissance. Thousands of visitors from all over Greece and beyond flooded every corner of the city. 60,000 carnival participants give their best and have fun at yet another spectacular carnival.
