A manhunt is underway by the Greek Police to locate and arrest a man of Albanian origin, who is accused of attacking two 25-year-old disabled women in Kypseli.
According to the complaint filed by the mother of the two girls, the alleged perpetrator – who according to Mega’s report appears to have been captured on security camera – attacked one of them with intent to rape her. A short time later, when the mother returned home, she found him inside the house, chased him, and he managed to escape. According to information, this is a person known to the family.
Kypseli: What the forensic examination revealed
The initial forensic examination of the two girls reportedly found no evidence of completed rape. Authorities believe that the alleged perpetrator attacked the 25-year-old woman but did not manage to complete his act.
The mother was away for just a few minutes
Speaking to Mega, the mother of the two girls described what happened. As she said, she had gone to the pharmacy and when she entered the house, she caught him sexually assaulting one of her daughters. “I went to the pharmacy which is not even 20 meters from the house. When I opened the door I saw him with his genitals on top of my child. He ran and hid in the toilet and I grabbed a frying pan and hit him on the head with it. I slip and he starts hitting me and also hits my child with punches to the eye,” the mother said.
As the mother told Mega, the 25-year-old suffers from cerebral palsy and quadriplegia, and her twin sister is also disabled. “I haven’t left them alone for 25 years ever. Unemployed, we are forgotten by God,” the mother broke down.
The movements of the alleged perpetrator according to Mega’s report have been recorded by the house’s security camera, while authorities are also examining the possibility that he attempted to attack the second girl as well. It was the mother who, returning home, opened the door and witnessed the incident. In a state of shock, she attacked him with whatever she could find – a frying pan and a knife.
