Another fatal crash occurred late Sunday night in Aspropyrgos, claiming the life of a 41-year-old man. The vehicle he was traveling in collided with a truck, resulting in his fatal injuries. The deadly collision happened shortly after midnight, under circumstances that remain unclear, at the intersection of Agios Panteleimonos and Agios Stefanos streets.
According to ertnews.gr, the car collided head-on with the truck. Four fire department vehicles with 13 firefighters rushed to the scene, who freed the woman passenger from the car using rescue equipment and extracted the unconscious 41-year-old man.

The man was transported by ambulance to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Traffic police have launched an investigation into the exact cause of the accident.
