Shock has gripped the community of Martha in the Municipality of Viannos, Heraklion, Crete, following a tragedy that claimed the life of a 67-year-old man, who was allegedly murdered by his 63-year-old brother after an intense argument. The alleged perpetrator has been arrested, while authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
According to reports, a 63-year-old man who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol got into an argument with his 67-year-old brother and wounded him with a knife in the carotid artery and abdomen. The victim and the perpetrator had reportedly been living together recently.
Strong police forces are heading to the area while according to reports the 63-year-old has already been arrested.
