The testimony of the 14-year-old who fell victim to gang rape in Piraeus by four men is causing shock. “I had seen the 18-year-old two or three times about a year ago in a group but we had no relationship. I knew his 19-year-old friend because he was dating my best friend at the time. The 18-year-old had sent me a message to hang out and I found it strange because we hadn’t talked since then. We talked on TikTok […] and then I asked him where his house was and if he lived alone. He came and picked me up from the square and we went together. There was the 16-year-old and his younger brother and then the 19-year-old came too,” the minor described how her nightmare began, according to an excerpt from her testimony to the authorities brought to light by the “Open Now” show.
“We were talking and joking around. At some point I went to the bathroom and when I came out, the 18-year-old’s brother tried to kiss me. I pulled back and told him ‘are you okay? I don’t know you’ and he replied that his brother doesn’t have a problem. I told him I didn’t come to the house for something like that and he replied that since it happened, why not do something.
We went to sleep with the 17-year-old but in separate beds and the other two were in the living room while the other was on the balcony. At some point, because we were all cold from the air conditioning, […] said we should all gather in the bed to warm up. Then they all came to me and grabbed me slowly, hugged me. With their hands they touched my body. They started taking off my clothes and undressing. The two brothers held me by the arms and […] raped me first and then his brother […] came. I was resisting, pulling my hands and pushing him. They had grabbed my hands and I was telling them ‘what are you doing? Are you okay?’ But they were laughing and telling me ‘don’t talk and everything will be fine.’ It hurt me a lot, I told him ‘you’re hurting me, leave me alone’ and he told me ‘okay, slowly slowly.’ Then one held me by the arms and the other by the legs. I was only resisting and they were telling me ‘come on don’t resist, don’t be a killjoy,'” the minor reports.
“Then the 19-year-old entered the room and said ‘what are you doing to the girl?’ and the 17-year-old told him ‘leave, you’re irrelevant’ and went to sleep.
I couldn’t see or understand much because I had in my mind that it shouldn’t happen and they wanted it to happen. In the end I went and took a bath and then came out. […] told me to go home and figure it out with my mom. I went to sleep and would do that in the morning. I slept alone, one was in the next bed, the other on the couch and the other left. We woke up early and I left. I was just walking and found myself at the store of the girl who saw me and called the police. When we came out, they told me that maybe what happened was a bit wrong and sorry. […] told me not to say anything because we would fight and we would all get in trouble,” she continues.
“They destroyed me, I want them punished”
“I know all this was bad, they destroyed me. Something holds me back, as if I’m justifying them because they are children. I justify them all. I want them all punished except the 19-year-old who didn’t do anything,” the minor concluded.
The accused in the 14-year-old’s rape case before the investigator
The four men allegedly involved in the nightmarish rape of the 14-year-old girl will appear before the investigative authorities to give their testimonies.
It is noted that three of the accused face very serious charges for rape by conspiracy, as they are accused of attacking the minor girl acting all together, while the fourth is accused of participating as an accomplice in this horrific case.
