An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale struck Pyrgos at 16:29 on Monday afternoon, July 7, according to the automatic solution of the Geodynamic Institute. The focal depth was located at 5 kilometers, while the epicenter was 4 kilometers east-southeast of Pyrgos, Elis.

Just minutes earlier, in the same area, two weaker seismic tremors had been recorded – measuring 2.8 at 16:23 and 2.5 on the Richter scale at 16:16, according to the Geodynamic Institute.
It should be noted that the time interval between the first and last earthquake was only 13 minutes.
