The element that remains unclear is the motive of the murder. If clarified, then perhaps the Homicide officers will be able to piece together the puzzle of this very strange case they have in their hands more easily, according to a Mega report.
What security cameras recorded
On the Live News program, the possibility that the killer had an accomplice is now considered certain, as what the cameras recorded around the execution site leaves no room for doubt.
Police estimate that the 43-year-old’s killer had an accomplice because security cameras in the area spotted the perpetrator initially fleeing on foot, but a few meters later, he was recorded getting into a car driven by someone else. The cameras, however, appear to have also recorded the route that the perpetrator and accomplice followed with their car.

The organizer of that particular conference, Stathis Karopoulos and director of the Short-Term Property Rental Companies Association, spoke to Mega about the 43-year-old professor. “Knowing his wife through her short-term rental activities, she recommended the professor to be a speaker at our conference,” he said initially.
“Discussing with her about the content of our conference, she suggested the professor as a speaker because this particular person was very specialized in the algorithms used by platforms. Indeed, it was proven from his speech that he was very composed and knowledgeable about platform functionality,” he added.
