A **man was found dead** on Friday afternoon, January 16th, at the thermal springs in **Thermopylae**. The man was discovered by other bathers, who immediately notified the Police and Fire Department, who rushed to the scene.
What authorities estimate about the dead man at Thermopylae
According to lamiareport.gr, the recovery and handover to the Emergency Medical Service was undertaken by members of the Lamia Fire Department who operated at the scene. Meanwhile, the Police were trying to gather information about the identity of the deceased, determining that he was a car owner, which he had parked at the location.
The Lamia Police Station that took over the preliminary investigation ordered an autopsy to be conducted at the Central Greece Forensic Medicine Service, in order to shed light on the exact causes of his death. From the indications so far, it appears that the man died from natural medical causes.
