Sexual harassment by an unknown man on a public bus was reported by a 15-year-old boy in Athens. Specifically, the 15-year-old reported that the man approached him and made sexual propositions offering payment. According to police, the boy initially boarded the bus at the Egypt Square stop near Pedion tou Areos. As the 15-year-old stated, the man harassed him inside the bus, and he immediately got off at the Skyros Street stop in Kypseli.

However, the unknown man followed him, approached him again and made sexual propositions offering payment. The boy refused and sought help from a store employee on Fokionos Negri Street. According to ERT’s report, police were notified and officers from the DI.AS unit immediately rushed to the scene. Meanwhile, the unknown perpetrator had fled. Searches followed to locate and arrest him, but without result. A case file for assault against sexual dignity by an unknown person has been opened by the Kypseli Security Department.
