New Turkish provocations today (13/1) in the Aegean as the Turks with four F-16 fighter aircraft and one unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) proceeded with violations of national airspace and violations of the Athens FIR.

More specifically, two violations were made by one F-16 and one UAV respectively, while the five violations in the central and southeastern Aegean were again carried out by Turkish fighter aircraft.
The two pairs of Turkish F-16s and the UAV were identified and intercepted by Greek air force units.
