Drugs from the Netherlands were being procured by a young man in Athens. However, he never got the chance to get his hands on them as police from the Narcotics Division put him in handcuffs. Several days earlier, the suspect had proceeded to place an online order that included the following:
• Pink cocaine or Tusi 11 grams,
• 16 tranquilizer pills,
• 3 papers soaked with LSZ,
• 72 anabolic steroid pills,
• 3 vials of anabolic preparations
Police officer appeared as package courier
The Narcotics Division officer posed as the package courier. As soon as the young man signed to receive the package, his colleagues swooped in and arrested him. During the searches, among other things, they found a mobile phone device and 940 euros in cash at his home.
Police are now investigating where the young man would have distributed the quantities, though he currently maintains that the drugs were intended for his personal use. A case file has been formed against him for violations of the Narcotics Law and he has already been brought before the competent prosecutor, from whom he requested and received a deadline to present his defense.
