The Fire Department rushed to the intersection of Kissamos and Eleon streets in Ilion to extinguish a fire that broke out on Monday afternoon, January 12, in a first-floor apartment. The situation was particularly serious, as 22 firefighters with six vehicles and a ladder truck engaged in the battle to extinguish the blaze and eventually brought the fire under control shortly after 4:30 PM. Fortunately, there were no trapped victims according to reports, neither on the first floor nor on the ground floor, where significant property damage also occurred. Additionally, two vehicles were burned.
