Hours after her disappearance from Patras, 16-year-old Laura appears to have reached Athens, according to evidence in the hands of the Greek Police. Specifically, witness testimonies confirm the minor’s presence in the capital, while efforts continue to locate her and the person who accompanied her. Moreover, authorities have video footage showing the 16-year-old with a man around 60 years old and another underage girl.

According to information, the 16-year-old met with the specific man and the girl on the morning of last Thursday (08/01) and subsequently boarded a taxi heading to Athens.
It’s worth noting that Laura left her home in the Rio area around 07:30 in the morning, taking her passport with her. As emerged from investigations, she has closed all her social media accounts and email accounts.
There is also information that the girl was under significant pressure from her family environment, while her actions indicate her intention was to disappear and leave no trace behind.
It should be noted that the 16-year-old moved to Patras with her family three years ago from Germany. People who know her describe a very quiet and withdrawn girl who doesn’t speak Greek very well.
Patras: How the 16-year-old’s disappearance was discovered
On the day of her disappearance, she left as usual to go to school on the first day after Christmas holidays. Her absence was noticed at noon when she didn’t return on the school bus, and alarm was immediately raised.
Her parents made an appeal to the 16-year-old to give signs of life, saying they are not angry with her and that what interests them primarily is for her to return safely to their home.
According to the Amber Alert issued, Laura Lobtef is 1.60m tall, weighs 50 kilos, has blonde-reddish hair and blue eyes. On the day she disappeared, she was wearing a blue jacket, black jeans, black Adidas sneakers with white stripes, and had a gray school bag with her.
