A fatal traffic accident occurred early Monday afternoon, January 12th, in Nea Ionia, at the intersection of Kymis Avenue and Kastamonis Street, when a 65-year-old pedestrian was struck by a car. The incident happened under circumstances that remain unclear, while police forces and an ambulance immediately rushed to the scene, where paramedics confirmed the death of the 65-year-old man.
