Police in Thessaloniki arrested a 67-year-old man who was driving his car while holding a dog on a leash that was running outside the vehicle alongside his moving car.
The unprecedented incident occurred on Sunday afternoon (04/01) in the Malgara area. The 67-year-old faces charges for violating animal welfare legislation.

According to reports, his arrest came after a citizen filed a complaint with police.
Police investigation revealed that the animal, whose guardian is the arrested man’s wife, had proper health documentation and electronic identification.
