It should be noted that tomorrow, Saturday, January 3 at 12:00 noon, farmers from the Evzoni blockade are expected to march with agricultural vehicles and tractors in the city of Kilkis, seeking a meeting with Parliament Vice President George Georganta to present their demands before returning to their base at the customs station. The road is expected to be blocked again tomorrow (03/01) from 6 PM until 10 PM.
Meanwhile, the Athens-Lamia National Highway remains closed today at the height of Kastro Viotias, in the direction towards Athens. Farmers continue to be at the location, disrupting traffic, which is being diverted through bypass roads. The direction towards Thessaloniki remains open, with traffic operating from one lane. Drivers are urged to be particularly careful and follow Traffic Police instructions.

Meanwhile, the blockade in Malgara remains open in both directions of the PATHE highway, while farmers from eastern Thessaloniki remain positioned at the “Green Lights” area, near “Macedonia” airport. Finally, it should be noted that the nationwide meeting of primary sector workers will begin on Sunday at 12 noon at the Cultural Center of Malgara in Thessaloniki.
