Greek police detained nine individuals following a firebomb attack on a police patrol car that occurred in the early hours of this morning in central Thessaloniki.
According to information from thestival.gr, at 2:20 AM a group of approximately 10 people attacked a riot police patrol car with multiple Molotov cocktails. The vehicle was parked behind the Turkish Consulate when the attack occurred. At the time of the assault, a police officer was inside the patrol car. The attack caused limited damage to the vehicle’s bumper.

Strong police forces swept the wider area and proceeded to detain nine individuals. No incriminating evidence was found against those detained, resulting in all of them being released.
