Strong reactions have been provoked by the organization of an electronic music party on Saturday night (20/12) in Galatsi, as the event took place literally in front of the Holy Church of Saint Andrew. A large number of young people gathered at the location, while professional lighting and a DJ console were set up on the church steps, creating a scene reminiscent of a nighttime rave. According to reports, the event concluded around 11:00 PM.
As evidenced by social media posts, the pre-announced street party, which according to official announcements was supposed to take place at Saint Andrew Square in Lamprini, ended up taking place just a few meters higher, directly in front of the church entrance.
The DJ console was set up in front of the church, while rhythmic lights illuminated parts of the temple, with several attendees climbing the steps, dancing and capturing the moment for social media.
