An unimaginable tragedy unfolds with the news of a 5-month-old infant’s death inside their home. Everything happened when the baby was sleeping in the parents’ bed along with their twin sibling, and according to the 19-year-old mother, when they woke up they found their little girl dead. The mother adds that both she and her partner had taken all safety precautions so the children could sleep with them in bed, and there’s no possibility they fell on the baby during their sleep.
“We were sleeping – me, my partner and our babies because we have two little ones, they’re twins and we woke up… we had put them in bed with us, we woke up and found our little one frozen. She was just born premature, she was born premature and okay, she went through what any baby goes through in a neonatal unit. We only had issues with reflux, she had severe reflux but we were monitoring it” the mother explains to Mega TV.
When asked if there was any possibility that someone fell on the child while they were sleeping, she said:
“No, no we had taken all the necessary safety measures for both children to sleep with us in case they weren’t sleeping in the crib. We woke up in exactly the same position, I understand and know this, and it was our biggest fear, both mine and my partner’s. It was our number one fear so we had taken every precaution and we knew that where we went to sleep, that’s where we would wake up, just from our fear alone. Both my partner and I woke up exactly where we fell asleep. We don’t know anything yet, we’re waiting for the autopsy.
