Homicide detectives arrived Wednesday afternoon in the Voula area where, according to sources, the 32-year-old businessman had been residing for a short period of time. Their purpose was to execute arrest warrants for both the 33-year-old nephew of 68-year-old Kostas Tomaras and the 32-year-old businessman.
According to police sources, the procedure went very smoothly without problems or resistance. The officers first approached the businessman and close friend of the nephew, informing him of his arrest, and when asked about the location where his friend could be found, he answered immediately. You see, since Tuesday evening, the 32-year-old “Denis“, the nephew of the deceased, had come to Athens and stayed at the luxury house of his businessman friend. He too accepted the police orders almost without protest, in order not to complicate his position.
According to testimonies, the 32-year-old businessman had not attracted the attention of his neighbors, nor was the arrest procedure noticed. “The house seemed to be closed and not many people were coming and going recently. He must have come in the last 1.5 months.
