The General Directorate of the State General Laboratory of AADE is proceeding with the recall of a specific batch of DISARONNO liqueur, following information received from an alcoholic beverage distribution company regarding the potential presence of glass fragments in the product.
As part of the routine self-monitoring of production by the Italian company, a problem was identified in one of the bottling lines. This led to the potential presence of glass micro-fragments in specific liqueur bottles that have been distributed in the Greek market, while according to the manufacturing company, the fragments – if present – may not be visible.

Specifically, the recall concerns liqueur with:
- Commercial Name: “DISARONNO”
- Distinctive Label: “ORIGINALE” 500 YEARS LIMITED EDITION (500-year commemorative bottle)
- Origin: Italy (manufacturing company: ILLVA SARONNO S.p.A.)
- Packaging: 700 mL bottles
- Batch Number: 25372
The company distributing the product in Greece, in cooperation with the competent services of the GD GCL of AADE, is already proceeding with the immediate withdrawal of all distributed quantities of the aforementioned batch from the domestic market. Related inspections are ongoing. Consumers who have already purchased the above product are advised not to consume it.
