Greek Police (ELAS) has released the identity details and photographs of a 20-year-old uncle and his 40-year-old partner who were arrested on charges of sexual abuse against the former’s minor nephews, aged 2 and 4 years old. The suspects are MICLEA (surname) Markos-Kimonas (first name), son of Remus Vasile and Gabriela, born August 4, 2005, in Romania, and HOXHA (surname) Edmond (first name), son of Selman and Hanko, born May 25, 1985, in Albania.
Criminal charges have been filed against them for sexual acts with a minor under 12 years old, simple complicity in sexual acts with a minor under 12 years old, sexual acts in front of a minor under 14 years old jointly committed, and possession of child pornography material produced using a minor under 12 years of age.
Official police statement on the two arrested suspects
Following a relevant order from the Piraeus First Instance Prosecutor’s Office, the identity details, photographs, and criminal charges against two foreign nationals, aged 20 and 40, are being released to the public. They were arrested on November 21 and 24, 2025, respectively, by officers from the Minor Protection Department of the Minor Protection Sub-Directorate.
Criminal charges have been filed against them for: a) sexual acts with a minor under 12 years old, b) simple complicity in sexual acts with a minor under 12 years old, c) sexual acts in front of a minor under 14 years old jointly committed, and d) possession of child pornography material produced using a minor under 12 years of age.
Specifically, the 20-year-old defendant exploited his family relationship with the mother of the minor victims and the parents’ trust in him. After securing the children’s stay at his residence, he invited the 40-year-old to his home, and they jointly committed the aforementioned criminal acts.
A significant volume of files (videos and photographs) containing explicit child pornography material involving minors under 12 years of age was found in their possession.
The arrested individuals are:

Since the above criminal acts violate the protected interests of childhood innocence and sexual freedom, combined with possession of numerous files containing child pornography material, this specific public disclosure, according to the relevant prosecutorial order, aims to investigate, detect, and prosecute similar crimes that the aforementioned defendants may have committed against other victims and to protect society from such criminal acts.
