Tensions remain high in Heraklion, Crete, particularly at “Nikos Kazantzakis” airport where farmers have entered the runway, resulting in flight suspensions. At the same time, according to parapolitika.gr sources, 15 individuals have been identified for the incidents at the airport and may face charges including organized crime.
Meanwhile, there is still no update on when the farmers will leave. It appears that farmers are continuing their mobilizations in Crete with greater intensity, with their permanent demand being the payment of agricultural subsidies.
