What felt like an entire century were the 20 minutes for three female students in Kamatero where a man holding a knife was following them and shouting for them to come closer to him. The man of Indian origin, heavily intoxicated, apparently randomly encountered the three 15-year-old female students walking on the street. Initially, he followed them from a distance, but gradually moved closer. When the girls noticed his presence, they quickened their pace. However, they saw that the man, who was holding a knife, was calling for them to move toward him. Fortunately for them, a food delivery worker was passing by the area, so they stopped him and explained what was happening. When the delivery worker turned toward the foreign man, he ran to hide.

The 15-year-olds, believing everything was over, continued their walk when they realized the foreign man was still following them. They called “100” and continued walking until they found a group of boys. Before they could tell them what was happening, two patrol cars appeared that located and arrested the foreign man. In the pocket of the jacket he was wearing, a knife over 22 centimeters long was found, with the man justifying that he uses it for his work. He could not explain how he ended up at that location, while he claimed he didn’t want to harm the girls. The three students and their parents went to the police station where they confirmed that the arrested man was the one who had been following them for a considerable time, resulting in criminal charges being filed against him.
