At least six dangerous locations in the **Tzoumerka** mountains are the focus of operations by crews from the **Epirus** Region, which has been hit by **Storm “Adel”**, aiming to prevent even greater damage and reduce the risk to residents’ safety.

The most serious problem is located in Agnanta, where a large retaining wall has collapsed, resulting in massive amounts of soil and debris flooding neighborhoods, destroying roads and leaving some houses in immediate danger, while a major landslide gives the impression that the village is “hanging” in the void.






As reported by apohxos.gr, residents and local authorities are anxiously monitoring the development of the situation, as ground instability could lead to new collapses. Meanwhile, according to epiruspost.gr, a new inter-ministerial meeting will take place on Friday afternoon regarding the extensive damage in Epirus, in order to make a detailed assessment and determine the amount of state assistance.
