Storm Adel will begin making its presence felt from today (26/11) according to the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (HNMS) weather forecast.

More specifically, the Ionian islands and regions of Epirus are expected to be at the epicenter. Locally strong rains and thunderstorms are forecast for the Ionian islands, such as Corfu, Paxos, and the Diapontian islands, as well as Epirus. From the afternoon, dangerous weather phenomena are expected in Lefkada, Kefalonia, Ithaca, Zakynthos, Aetolia-Acarnania, as well as western and southern Peloponnese. Additionally, from the evening, the storm will become noticeable in areas of eastern Macedonia. It should be noted that temperatures will show a slight increase.

MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: Clouds with local rains. From the evening in eastern Macedonia, rains will intensify and locally strong rains and thunderstorms will develop.
Winds: South-southwestern 4 to 5 Beaufort, and in the eastern areas 6 to 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 8 to 19 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia 4 to 5 degrees lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIRUS, WESTERN CENTRAL GREECE, WESTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: Clouds with rains and sporadic thunderstorms. The phenomena will be locally strong in the Ionian islands (Corfu, Diapontian islands and Paxos), Epirus, and from the afternoon in Lefkada, Kefalonia, Ithaca, Zakynthos, Aetolia-Acarnania, western and southern Peloponnese.
Winds: From southern directions 4 to 5 Beaufort, and in the Ionian Sea 6 to 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 11 to 20 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 5 to 6 degrees lower.
THESSALY, EASTERN CENTRAL GREECE, EUBOEA, EASTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: Clouds temporarily increased with local rains and isolated thunderstorms. In southern Peloponnese from the afternoon, the phenomena will intensify and will be locally strong.
Winds: Southwestern 4 to 5 Beaufort, in the eastern areas 6 and in southern Euboea 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 9 to 21 degrees Celsius.
CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: Clouds temporarily increased with local rains.
Winds: South-southwestern 5 to 6 Beaufort, and from the afternoon locally up to 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 14 to 22 degrees Celsius.
EASTERN AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANESE
Weather: Clouds temporarily increased with local rains and in the eastern Aegean isolated thunderstorms.
Winds: From southern directions 5 to 6 and locally up to 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 17 to 22 degrees Celsius. In the northern areas 2 to 3 degrees lower.
ATTICA
Weather: Few clouds which will increase from noon and rains will occur, with isolated thunderstorms from late afternoon.
Winds: South-southwestern 5 to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 22 degrees Celsius.
THESSALONIKI
Weather: Few clouds temporarily increased with local rains from noon. From late evening, rains will intensify and sporadic thunderstorms will also develop.
Winds: From southern directions 3 to 4 Beaufort.
