In detail, the security camera footage shows the perpetrator spotting the Christmas tree with its lights. After jumping over the yard’s railings, he began dismantling the tree along with its decorations, attempting to remove it as quickly as possible.
Once he got hold of it, he appears to try escaping the same way he entered the yard.
Finally, it’s noted that neighbors who heard the commotion came outside and started shouting, causing the perpetrator to quickly flee the scene. It’s estimated that he was likely slightly injured during his escape attempt, as he appears to have been hurt while trying to get away.
