A new storm system is approaching, which according to the National Meteorological Service weather forecast, is expected to bring locally intense rainfall and thunderstorms to the northern Ionian Sea and Epirus regions.
More specifically, areas such as Corfu, Paxos islands, and the coastal regions of Epirus will face dangerous weather phenomena, while the rest of Greece will experience scattered clouds temporarily increasing with local showers in the eastern Peloponnese.
Furthermore, from the afternoon these phenomena will be observed in the Cyclades and Crete, from the evening in the eastern island regions, and from nighttime in western Macedonia and Thrace. It should be noted that temperatures will show a slight increase.

MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: Scattered clouds temporarily increasing with local rainfall from nighttime in western Macedonia and Thrace.
Winds: From southerly directions 3 to 4, in eastern areas 4 to 5 and gradually locally up to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 08 to 18 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia 4 to 5 degrees lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIRUS, WESTERN CENTRAL GREECE, WESTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: Clouds with rain and sporadic thunderstorms. The phenomena will be locally intense in the northern Ionian Sea (mainly Corfu area, Diapontian islands, Paxos) and in Epirus (mainly in its coastal areas).
Winds: From southerly directions 4 to 5, in the Ionian Sea 6 and gradually up to 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 10 to 20 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 5 to 6 degrees lower.
THESSALY, EASTERN CENTRAL GREECE, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: Scattered clouds temporarily increasing. Local showers will occur in the eastern Peloponnese.
Winds: Southwesterly 3 to 5 and from the afternoon in eastern areas up to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 10 to 21 degrees Celsius.
CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: Scattered clouds that will increase from afternoon hours and local showers will occur.
Winds: Westerly southwesterly 4 to 5 and from the afternoon southerly southwesterly locally up to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 15 to 22 degrees Celsius.
EASTERN AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANESE
Weather: Scattered clouds that will increase in the evening and local showers will occur.
Winds: In northern areas from southerly directions 4 to 5 and from the afternoon locally up to 6 Beaufort. In southern areas westerly northwesterly 4 to 5 Beaufort and from the evening southwesterly with the same intensity.
Temperature: From 16 to 22 degrees Celsius. In northern areas 2 to 3 degrees lower.

Weather: Scattered clouds temporarily increasing.
Winds: Initially variable light winds and gradually southerly southwesterly 3 to 5 and from the afternoon locally up to 6 Beaufort.
