The ex-husband of the 55-year-old teacher who accused a 6-year-old student of sexual harassment in her classroom at a school in Loutraki spoke about her mental state. He claimed she needs medication and denied that he abused her during their years-long marriage. The teacher’s husband also mentioned they have been separated since March. “I suggested we divorce peacefully, and she wanted to call the police,” he said, emphasizing that “she has lost control.” “The woman is not well, she needs psychiatric monitoring, she needs medication now” he stressed, speaking on a Mega TV show. It should be noted that the 55-year-old had previously revealed what she experienced during a difficult 30-year marriage, speaking about abuse and psychological violence from her ex-husband.
Loutraki: “She needs psychiatric monitoring”, says teacher’s ex-husband
Specifically, the 55-year-old teacher’s husband stated: “She had problems, yes. We tried to help her psychologically, morally and so on, all these years. She didn’t accept the evaluations. She worked in schools for so many years, was appointed (4 years ago). She served her required time in Corinthia and then could have come to Athens, but didn’t apply because she liked it there and left me alone with the children, with her parents.” Regarding their relationship he said: “We’ve been separated since March 1st, we have no contact and now she comes out and slanders me saying I abused her for 30 years.
We said we would divorce by mutual consent. Now from there on what she comes out and says after… I want to think about what I’ll do. I’m thinking about the children, if she takes it too far and I think about my rights too, protecting my reputation, now what she’s coming out and saying, those who know us, who believes her? The woman is not well, she needs psychiatric monitoring, she needs medication now. I had told her this before all these scenes happened.
I suggested we divorce peacefully, and she wanted to call the police, she wanted to escalate the matter. She has lost control, I’ve told her for a while that she needed to take some medication. She thinks that if she takes medication she’ll become terrible, she’ll become psychopathic.”
