The two men had broken into the single-family home on Friday evening, searching through rooms and stealing items. When the homeowner returned and spotted them, they ran to the balcony in an attempt to escape.

Hanging from the railings, they tried to climb down, but their weight caused the metal structure to give way. The two burglars fell six meters to the pavement and were crushed by the broken railings.
Police rushed to the scene and arrested them while they were transported injured to the hospital where they remain under guard.
