In Corfu, particularly in the Antiperini settlement, roads were covered with debris and fallen trees. Municipal crews are working continuously to clear the roads. The Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis & Civil Protection Kostas Katsafados arrived on the island, conducting inspections and coordination meetings with local authorities.

Epirus: 400 millimeters of rain in 5 days
In Epirus, according to meteorologist Yannis Kallianos, the equivalent of a full year’s rainfall for central Athens fell within five days. In Kalambaka, streams overflowed creating serious problems, while in the Aspropotamos area landslides occurred, blocking roads and causing power outages.
