Today, Tuesday (18/11), OPEKEPE began disbursing payments for Organic Farming 2024, with a total amount exceeding 14.6 million euros directed to 26,350 beneficiaries. Specifically, the clearance process for the “Organic Agriculture” measure of the Rural Development Program 2014-2022 was completed and payment to producers who submitted applications in 2024 was announced. After the required controls, more than 26,000 applications were approved, while the total amount disbursed exceeds 14.6 million euros.
However, the completion of controls for specific regions remains pending, which are not yet included in the payment.
OPEKEPE’s detailed announcement
“Following the completion of the prescribed controls by the competent services of OPEKEPE, the procedures prescribed by national and EU regulations were completed for the clearance payment of 2024 applications, relating to the Actions of the 5th Call of Measure 11 ‘Organic Agriculture’ of the Rural Development Program (RDP) 2014-2022 at 100%. The payment does not include beneficiaries falling under the areas of responsibility of the Regional Directorate of Epirus & Western Macedonia and the Regional Directorate of Macedonia & Thrace due to ongoing control procedures.”
The payment covers 26,350 beneficiaries and the total payment amount disbursed is 14,694,269.04 euros.

Regarding the clearance payment results, and in accordance with the provisions of current decisions, producers can submit a related administrative appeal, starting from Monday 17/11/2025 and within five (5) working days, i.e., until Friday 21/11/2025 electronically through the Information Systems of Measures/Actions using their personal codes.
Through the administrative appeal, producers can correct obvious errors concerning compliance documents and/or raise objections to findings (codes) that arose during their clearance payment. At the same time, they must initiate the necessary administrative actions to correct data in the computerized database(s) through which cross-checks are performed by the Information System. It is clarified that findings against which administrative appeals are submitted are re-examined only computerized by drawing data from relevant databases. Therefore, it is not subject to review by a committee within the framework of the Measure.
