A 5-month extension is granted for inclusion in the “My Home II” program, as announced by Nikos Papathanasis. Specifically, the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance announced via SKAI that from December 31st, which was the deadline, the new deadline is May 31st, 2026. Additionally, the final disbursement is postponed from June 30th to August 31st.

Nikos Papathanasis noted that the program, which runs with resource redirection from the Recovery Fund, has currently reached 65%, meaning 1.3 billion euros have been secured by our fellow citizens to buy homes, and we now exceed 11,000 participants.
As he explained, the 11,000 homes that have been secured have a construction age up to 2007. He also added that the program has a total budget of 2 billion euros and closes in August 2026. In conclusion, he mentioned that income and age criteria are being expanded compared to “My Home I.”
