The Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Domna Michailidou announced that the lottery for 8,500 beneficiaries, who will each receive €1,000 through prepaid welfare cards benefits will take place on November 27. “In one week we have a lottery so that 8,500 of our fellow citizens will receive €1,000 each, so that we can also show that the use of prepaid cards is something that pays off. If you use your card, you automatically get one lottery ticket for the mandatory 50% that you must spend electronically, and then for every additional 5% of purchases you make with this card, you get another lottery ticket to increase your chances in the draw. If they don’t want to participate in the lottery, the platform has opened for them to declare non-participation in the draw,” Ms. Michailidou stated specifically, speaking to ERTnews.

It should be noted that the cash prize amount will be deposited to the lucky lottery winners’ bank account IBAN that corresponds to their prepaid card.
