2026 vehicle registration fees now available on myCAR platform

Greece’s 2026 vehicle registration fees are now available on myCAR platform with payment deadline December 31, 2025. Fees remain frozen without increases.

On Monday morning (3/11), the 2026 vehicle registration fees were uploaded to the myCAR platform of the Greek tax authority. Vehicle owners can now log in with their credentials and download their new bill, with the payment deadline set for December 31, 2025.


2026 vehicle registration fees: the amounts

As with last year, the amounts remain “frozen“, without any increases, while penalties for late payment start at 25% and can reach up to 100% of the total amount.

For vehicles registered from January 1, 2006 to October 31, 2010:

  • 0-300 cc, the 2026 vehicle registration fees are €22.
  • 301-785 cc: €55.
  • 786-1,071 cc: €120.
  • 1072-1,357 cc: €135.
  • 1358-1,548 cc: €255.
  • 1549-1,738 cc: €280.
  • 1739-1,928 cc: €320.
  • 1929-2,357 cc: €690.
  • 2358-3,000 cc: €920.
  • 3001-4,000 cc: €1,150.
  • Above 4,001 cc: €1,380.

For vehicles registered between January 1, 2001 and December 31, 2005:

  • 0-300 cc, the 2026 vehicle registration fees are set at €22.
  • 301-785 cc: €55.
  • 786-1,071 cc: €120.
  • 1072-1,357 cc: €135.
  • 1358-1,548 cc: €240.
  • 1549-1,738 cc: €265.
  • 1739-1,928 cc: €300.
  • 1929-2,357 cc: €630.
  • 2358-3,000 cc: €840.
  • 3001-4,000 cc: €1,050.
  • Above 4,001 cc, the 2026 vehicle registration fees are €1,260.

For vehicles registered in Greece before 2000:

  • 0-300 cc: €22.
  • 301-785 cc: €55.
  • 786-1,071 cc: €120.
  • 1072-1,357 cc: €135.
  • 1358-1,548 cc: €225.
  • 1549-1,738 cc: €250.
  • 1739-1,928 cc: €280.
  • 1929-2,357 cc: €615.
  • 2358-3,000 cc: €820.
  • 3001-4,000 cc: €1,025.
  • Above 4,001 cc: €1,230.

The payment process

To pay your vehicle registration fees on time, follow this procedure. Go to the digital portal of the Greek tax authority and click on the myCAR platform. Using TAXISnet credentials, follow this path: Applications > Tax Services > Vehicles > myCAR > Enter Application > Vehicle Registration Fees > Vehicle Registration Fee Notices.

Without TAXISnet credentials, follow this path: myAADE > Applications > Tax Services > Vehicles > Vehicle registration fees without TAXISnet credentials > Enter Application, by entering the tax number and vehicle registration number.
