The actual expenditures of the Public Employment Service (DYPA) have exceeded €750 million, within the framework of implementing the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0”, with funding from the European Union-Next Generation EU, according to a relevant announcement by DYPA. Specifically, by June 26, 2025, DYPA had made total payments amounting to €768,759,817.53.

DYPA: What the expenditures cover
Of the total expenditures, €711 million (93%) relates to active employment policies, such as subsidy programs for creating new job positions and ongoing professional training initiatives for acquiring and upgrading skills of the country’s human resources.
Additionally, €30 million (4%) concerns strengthening DYPA with employment counselors.
