A new era in the banking system is expected to be brought by CrediaBank, which inaugurated its first new experience banking branch in Kolonaki, at Skoufa 3. What is presented as a vision is the upgrade of customer experience, which aims to focus on the individual while emphasizing the use of technology. The implementation of the plan that CrediaBank aspires to carry out requires boldness. After all, in this venture there are no appointments, while the teller counters have no fixed hours.

Thus, the goal is for customers to have contact with a real person at any time, in order to combine the technological advantages provided in modern times.

CrediaBank inauguration: Open and, above all, accessible to everyone
The new branch design promotes human contact in teller transaction areas that bring bank staff and customers to the same level of visual contact. The bank evolves into a welcoming space for collaboration and interaction with respect and empathy. The new branches feature spaces and infrastructure to meet different needs such as automatic digital service points and meeting rooms for discussions with bank advisors that require discretion, as well as comfortable seating, low partitions, warm and vibrant colors that highlight a welcoming environment.
A basic principle for branch design is accessibility for everyone. CrediaBank’s new experience branches have been designed in collaboration with specialized consultants to serve and facilitate transactions for everyone, including people with vision, hearing, mobility difficulties or people on the autism spectrum, utilizing technology and special infrastructure.

Support at every moment
Technology supports the human service experience, accelerating and simplifying transactions. From the personal welcome of customers at the branch entrance to automatic digital service points, every transaction flows smoothly, with the assurance that there is always a bank representative to support the customer.
Looking to the future, the new branches have been designed with a focus on sustainable development, reflecting in practice the bank’s respect for the environment and local communities.
Beyond the infrastructure, the spaces exude hospitality: Refreshments and coffee for visitors, waiting areas for children and pets are offered exclusively for the comfort of branch visitors.
“The beginning of our new story”
On the occasion of the launch of the first new branch, CrediaBank’s managing director Eleni Vrettou stated: “CrediaBank is in a new beginning. Every new start has challenges, like those we recently managed by completing our operational integration, but also unique opportunities, like this one, where we redefine the bank-customer relationship by returning to the basic parameter: human contact, immediacy, trust relationship.
We are the first in Greece to present a new branch concept that centers on the customer, prioritizing their convenience and better service. The new branch reflects our philosophy of balancing digital applications and upgraded services with direct, face-to-face cooperation and service, always guided by our customer’s needs. For us, our new branch on Skoufa Street is the beginning of our new story, where every customer is welcome, where every customer matters”.
CrediaBank’s general manager of Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Mr. Stylianos Iliadis, noted: “With the new branch concept we present, we create our customers’ banking ‘home’ for the future. We upgrade the daily experience, utilizing technology and personalizing service. Respect and accessibility for everyone, value to people and their needs. In a rapidly changing world, we are guided by attention to people. Our new branches bring CrediaBank’s vision to life”.

Presence from the political and economic scene
The inauguration ceremony of the CrediaBank branch in Kolonaki was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Kostis Hatzidakis, Minister of National Economy & Finance Kyriakos Pierrakakis, Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis, Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos, Bank of Greece Governor Yannis Stournaras, among others.
The Skoufa Street branch is CrediaBank’s first branch in Attica with the new concept. The Panepistimiou and Chalandri branches will follow, as well as branches in Crete and Thessaloniki, with the goal of having all the bank’s branches renovated by the end of 2026.
These branches constitute CrediaBank’s flagship branches and practically express the bank’s vision for an upgraded service experience from door to teller, highlighting the bank’s flexibility and customer-centric culture, with people at the heart of its operations.
