Prices for school supplies will remain stable compared to 2024, representatives of supermarkets committed during their meeting with Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos. Specifically, following his meeting with the Hellenic Supermarket Association, the minister stated: “In the coming days and weeks, families with school-age children have school supply prices at the center of their concerns. After a meeting I had with supermarket representatives, they undertook the commitment that school supply prices will remain stable compared to 2024. This is undoubtedly a positive development that I hope other businesses will follow.”

“We continue the same effort with new initiatives, market controls and new measures that we will announce for all basic food and living items in the coming period, aiming to contain the cost of living and increase families’ disposable income,” he adds.
