The government announced four support measures against the energy crisis. As revealed from the announcements regarding the fuel pass, the amounts to be given to beneficiaries range from €25 to €60 and, in addition to income criteria, other parameters must also apply for the subsidy to be approved.
Fuel pass: Income criteria
For unmarried individuals
Annual income must not exceed €25,000.
For married couples
The basic limit is €35,000, with an increase of €5,000 for each dependent child.
For single-parent families
The limit starts at €39,000 and increases by €5,000 for each additional child beyond the first.
However, it should be noted that for the fuel pass application to be approved:
– a specific vehicle must be declared
– the vehicle must be in circulation
– the vehicle must be insured
– no circulation fees must be owed
– each individual declares only one vehicle
– each vehicle is declared by only one individual
These are the fuel pass amounts
Fuel pass beneficiaries will receive from €25 to €60 depending on whether they own a motorcycle or car, whether they live on an island or mainland Greece, and whether they will use a card or not.
For cars in mainland Greece
– €50 per two months with digital card
– €40 per two months without card
For cars on islands
– €60 per two months with digital card
– €50 per two months without card
For motorcycles in mainland Greece
– €30 per two months with digital card
– €25 per two months without card
For motorcycles on islands
– €35 per two months with digital card
– €30 per two months without card
Applications will start next week through gov.gr.
