The new allowance of €100 is now available for private sector workers through the electronic platform inclusion.apps.gov.gr. Applications for the educational program from the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family began on Wednesday, July 10, aiming to cover up to 80,000 participants. The high traffic caused platform problems on the first day of operation. Despite advance warnings about potential technical issues due to increased load, the system displayed error messages, temporarily making it impossible to submit applications.
It should be noted that just a few days ago, Minister of Social Cohesion and Family Domna Michailidou announced the launch of the Employee Awareness Program on Diversity and Combating Discrimination in the Workplace. According to research by the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 50% of ACCI members have never been trained on such issues, while 60% consider relevant training essential.
Eligibility requirements for the €100 allowance – Who can apply
To submit an application for the program and receive the €100 allowance, you must be a private sector employee and meet the following requirements:
- Registration in the ERGANI system
- Availability of tax number, social security number and IBAN in a Greek bank
- Non-participation of employers or freelancers
It should be noted that there are no age or geographical restrictions for applying for the €100 allowance.
The content of the educational program
The three-hour online training program aims to raise employee awareness on diversity and anti-discrimination issues. The educational material includes seven thematic units covering: gender, age, disability, national origin, religion, sexual orientation and external characteristics. The platform is fully accessible for people with disabilities and supports voice navigation.
The application process for the €100 allowance
Applications for the €100 allowance are made exclusively online through the inclusion.apps.gov.gr platform using TaxisNet codes. After successful application submission, an email is sent with a personal link and detailed monitoring instructions.
For successful completion of the program and receipt of the €100 allowance, participants must watch all educational material and pass an assessment test with at least 70%. A second chance is provided in case of failure.
Compensation characteristics
The first 80,000 workers who successfully complete the seminar and respond to the evaluation questionnaire will receive the €100 allowance. The compensation is tax-free and non-seizable, paid automatically to the declared bank account and accompanied by email notification. Participants receive a certificate of attendance that is not credit-bearing nor recognized by ASEP, but can be used within companies.
It should be emphasized that the program runs until August 31, 2025 or earlier, if 80,000 successful participations are completed. After this date, the platform closes and no compensation or certificate issuance is provided.
