EFKA officially announced the payment dates for February 2026 pensions, with payments starting from the last days of January. Pensioners will see the amounts in their bank accounts one day earlier than the official dates, depending on the insurance fund they belong to. The payment process is divided into two main phases: Tuesday, January 27 for non-salaried workers and Thursday, January 29, 2026 for salaried workers and public sector employees.

Pension payments on January 27, 2026
On Tuesday, January 27, 2026, February 2026 pensions will be credited for specific categories of pensioners. The first payment phase includes non-salaried workers and certain special funds.
Specifically, OAEE pensioners, covering freelancers and merchants, will be served, as well as OGA beneficiaries for farmers. Additionally, ETAA pensions for non-salaried workers will be paid, including engineers, lawyers and other professionals.
On the same day, main pensions granted after EFKA’s establishment according to law 4387/2016 will be paid through the OPS EFKA system. All supplementary pensions from the private sector, regardless of whether they concern salaried or non-salaried workers, will also be credited on January 27.
Payments on January 29 for salaried workers and public sector
The second phase of February 2026 pension payments will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2026. This date mainly concerns private sector employees and public sector pensioners.
IKA ETAM pensioners, who constitute the largest category of beneficiaries, will receive their pensions on this day. At the same time, all public sector pensioners will be served, including provisional pensions for the Armed Forces, Security Corps and Fire Service.
On January 29, NAT and KEAN pensions for seafarers will also be paid, ETAP MME for media workers, and ETAT for banking personnel. Pensioners from TSEAPGSO and TSP ISAP organizations, as well as DEH and OTE beneficiaries will be paid the same day. Finally, public sector supplementary pensions will be credited on January 29, 2026.
When money will appear in accounts
Important information for pensioners is that February 2026 pension amounts are expected to appear in bank accounts one day earlier than the official payment dates. This means that those paid on January 27 will see the money from Monday, January 26, while beneficiaries of the 29th will have access to the amounts from Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
