Beyond Greek congratulations, Kyriakos Pierrakakis received praise from the European political world, which welcomed his upcoming presidency of the Eurogroup. The Greek minister received his first congratulations just minutes after his election from his Latvian counterpart, Arvils Ašeradens. Specifically, he wrote: “Congratulations, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, on your election as President of the Eurogroup.
