Ioannina represents another milestone in Plaisio’s social action, which maintains a longstanding connection with education and contributions to schools, demonstrating its enduring commitment to this sector in practice. In collaboration with the Municipality of Ioannina, Plaisio proceeded to cover the technological needs of 22 schools (Elementary, Middle Schools, High Schools and Special Education Schools) in the area by providing computers and projectors, supplying essential stationery for educators, and donating 1,500 notebooks, substantially enhancing the educational process for hundreds of students in the city.
The equipment delivery took place at the beginning of the new school year, and Plaisio’s volunteer team, “Plai sou” (By your side), visited a school in Ioannina, where they had the opportunity to speak with local government representatives, principals and educators, strengthening the mutual trust relationship between the company and the community. This action continues the company’s steadfast dedication to the education pillar, recognizing the role of technology as an integral tool for modern learning. Supporting students, especially in areas where needs are increased, is a priority for Plaisio.
Part of this contribution was funded through an art auction at the Panathenea festival, where 11 established and emerging artists contributed their work to an initiative with social impact. Specifically, the participants were: b. | thisismybworld studio, Antonakis Christodoulou, Lex Pan, Fotios Balas, Jamer, Woozy, Tina Karageorgi, Giannis Kaminis, Sofia Petropoulou, Cacao Rocks and Christina Papaioannou.
