Nova participates once again in the Venice Film Festival, offering special cinematic tributes to its subscribers throughout September, marking the 82nd International Festival. From Monday September 1 to Sunday September 7, Novacinema 2 will screen two distinguished or nominated films from the Venice Biennale every night at 10:00 PM. Additionally, within the Classic Zone slot, airing every Sunday at 5:00 PM, four classic 1950s films starring Kim Novak will be presented (“Pushover” 7/9, “Pal Joey” 14/9, “Middle of the Night” 21/9 and “Bell, Book & Candle” 28/9), who will be honored this year with the Golden Lion for her lifetime achievement. Meanwhile, Nova‘s film critic, Poly Lykourgou, will share daily updates on the festival’s atmosphere and developments through the Novacinema channels’ social media.





The 82nd International Venice Film Festival is organized by La Biennale di Venezia and directed by Alberto Barbera, taking place at the Venice Lido from August 27 to September 6, 2025. The Festival is officially recognized by FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations). The Festival’s goal is to raise awareness and promote international cinema in all its forms – as art, entertainment and industry – in a spirit of freedom and dialogue.
