Business workshops organized by Alpha Bank took place in Athens, Thessaloniki and Heraklion, Crete, with the participation of over 100 people from nearly 70 companies. The informational events, which will continue from September in other parts of Greece, offer an interactive experience where participants learn about new Transaction Banking tools, with emphasis on Trade Finance and Treasury.
Simultaneously, they have the opportunity to discuss with senior Bank executives about best business practices and other issues of concern. Each workshop had a specific theme – in Heraklion, Crete, the discussion and information topic was the benefits of utilizing digital transaction banking services, while in Thessaloniki participants had the opportunity to learn about business development possibilities in international markets through specialized Trade Finance and Treasury tools.
At the last major Athens workshop held in July, Alpha Bank’s cutting-edge Transaction Banking products were presented, along with the Bank’s specialized solutions to challenges arising from changes in financial markets. Finally, a thorough analysis of Greek and global economic trends was conducted, with special reference to the impact of US tariff policy.
