A trip for 85 children from Ukraine and their companions was organized by Attica Group, with the support of Hellenic Seaways. It should be noted that these are minors who are being hosted at the “Zeta Children’s Summer Camp in Keratea”. As announced, the trip took place on July 29, 2025 to Aegina, with the presence of Attica Group executives and the expectation of creating pleasant experiences for children who have lived through the negative consequences of war in their country.

As part of the initiative, the high-speed vessel Flying Cat 5 of Hellenic Seaways, a member of the Attica Group, operated a special route from Piraeus to Aegina, with full coverage of expenses during the stay and tour of the island.
The program included visits to iconic religious and archaeological sites of Aegina, such as the Holy Temple of Saint Nektarios and the Archaeological Site of Aphaia. The day was completed with recreational activities and lunch at Agia Marina beach.
“Act of solidarity”
On the occasion of the action’s completion, the Director of Corporate Relations and Communication of Attica Group, Kallia Mylonaki, stated: “Supporting children and families who have experienced the consequences of war constitutes a substantial act of support and solidarity that transcends the borders of our country. Behind each of the participants lies a unique and difficult human story. We strive to offer beautiful experiences that will remain etched in the memory of the children and their companions when they return to their country.”
