As part of the global “Never Not Suede” campaign, PUMA presents the Greek chapter of the Suede story, starring two artists who represent different expressions of contemporary music and urban culture: Negros tou Moria and Marseaux.
The campaign unfolds in the heart of Athens, with one of the city’s most distinctive symbols at its core: the yellow taxi cab. An everyday, familiar and unpredictable space where different personalities, stories and journeys cross paths for just a few minutes. At the center of it all is the Suede Classic, presented in classic black, bold orange and coffee brown. Its low, recognizable silhouette retains the suede leather upper, the leather PUMA Formstrip and the rubber outsole — elements that have defined its look through the years.
Two distinct stories offer two different versions of the same city. In the first, Negros tou Moria comes face to face with a quintessentially Athenian situation — a taxi driver who always has something to say — creating a snapshot full of humor, character and spontaneity. In the second, Marseaux moves through the nighttime rhythms of Athens with the effortless spontaneity and understated aesthetic that define her.
Different as they are, both journeys express the same truth: the Suede doesn’t belong to just one scene, generation or culture. It remains a timeless symbol of self-expression that takes on new meaning through those who make it their own. Just as Athens constantly evolves without losing its character, the PUMA Suede continues to stand as a fixed point of reference in an ever-changing world. Authentic, recognizable and always relevant.
