METLEN has signed two new contracts worth a total of £34.8 million for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of major renewable energy projects in the United Kingdom. Specifically, the company will undertake, on behalf of CERO Generation, the design and construction of a combined solar park and battery energy storage system (BESS) project in the Bramley area of Hampshire. The project will deliver a total installed capacity of 115 MW.

Additionally, under a contract with AMPYR Solar Europe, METLEN will construct an 18 MW BESS project in Scruton, North Yorkshire, with a total storage capacity of 49 MWh. Today, METLEN has completed or is implementing 93 renewable energy projects in the United Kingdom and Ireland. These include 65 solar projects with a total capacity of 1.82 GW, and 28 BESS projects with a total storage capacity of 1.31 GWh.
