International passenger traffic surge for SKY express
Specifically, according to company data, international passenger traffic recorded a 33% jump. Correspondingly, available seats increased by 34%, strengthening SKY express’s already strong presence on the international map.

We remind that the airline recently added six new destinations to its portfolio (Hamburg, Berlin, Madrid, Lyon, Lisbon), while just days ago, as parapolitika.gr exclusively revealed, an extremely significant addition concerning the Israeli market was announced. Specifically, SKY express launches flights to and from Tel Aviv at Ben Gurion Airport.

Fleet expansion with new Airbus for SKY express
In the coming period, the company will proceed with attractive discounts of 30% and 40% to invite passengers to choose them for travel to these new destinations.
Additionally, it strengthens its fleet with a new Airbus 320neo, 180-seat aircraft with CFM engines, bringing the total number to 28 aircraft, expecting another Airbus A320neo by September.
Furthermore, the company’s total flight operations increased by 10% in the second quarter, confirming that SKY express remains Greece’s fastest-growing airline.
Just in 2019, it held a 2.5% market share at Athens Airport and today approaches 12%, maintaining a significant position in both domestic and international markets, showing an overall 25% growth over six years.
Limit up in Thessaloniki – Opening with Düsseldorf
SKY express records a 5% increase in passenger traffic at Thessaloniki Airport regarding direct domestic flights from the co-capital. In fact, this autumn it adds a new direct flight to Düsseldorf, strengthening Northern Greece’s connection with strategic international markets.
